Virtual Reality CCTV System, VRPS
Virtual Reality CCTV System, VRPS, is a security system developed by KeumSung Security using VR technology
to replace old monitoring systems. The flat images on checker-board display had had limitation that it is hard
to track the moving route of the observing object. However, VRPS provides easy and precise live 3d mapped images
of the scene to the operator. Thus, VRPS is the most advancing, neo-paradigm system basis of rigid software engine.
The Principle of VRPS
The development of VRPS has started with the question “How can we build perfect CCTV overseeing system?”
For the answer, we used 3D engine to virtual realize the target areas. The virtual realization was done through
3D mapping the already existing CCTVs’ images to easily track the route of the observing object.
